Sandy Williams, MA, LCMHC

Welcome to Resilient Perspectives!  I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor providing telehealth services within the state of New Hampshire. I have worked in various mental health settings and have experience working with clients seeking substance abuse treatment, adolescents and adults with mood disorders, adults with severe and persistent mental illness, older adults, and individuals with traumatic brain injury.

My interest in holistic healing modalities is what drew me to the counseling profession, and I believe that healing the whole body and mind is an essential focus of treatment. I emphasize the use of mindfulness-based therapy, solution focused therapy (SFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), as these tools lay the groundwork for continued positive change beyond therapy.

My background includes a decade of working in the field of business development as well as well as six years as a stay-at-home mom and have varied life experiences from which to draw from in our sessions.

I utilize a client centered approach because it is important that you feel understood and heard when dealing with stressors caused by life events, such as loss, addiction, chronic pain, life changes, family conflict, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I actively support clients in better understanding themselves, strengthening their sense of self-worth, learning new ways of responding to difficult emotions, and connecting with more meaningful lives, consistent with their personal goals.

I look forward to helping you in your journey towards whole health.
